Item Photos and Description For your consideration is a Japanese pictorial guide book of Antique Pottery and Porcelain manufactured at famous traditional kilns located across Japan. This volume 24 features KAKIEMON ware produced in the early to mid Edo period. Includes 92 full-color and clear photographs of 76 antique porcelain works of Kakiemon, with titles in English and Japanese, height or aperture, owner’s name in Japanese on each plate. Also includes description notes and brief comments on each plate in Japanese, and a list of plates and an exposition on ”Kakiemon Ware” in both English and Japanese at the end of this book. Large-format hardcover book with dust jacket, first published in 1977 in Japan, measures 330x265cm(13×10.4″; closed) with 84 pages including 40 full-color pages of high quality paper. Preowned but still in good condition, with some signs of aging and use, light general wear, in dust jacket with mild edge wear and discoloration, mild wear to corners/spine ends, tears to edges of dust jacket, some stains and foxing on endpages and closed edge and several beginnning and ending white pages, otherwise a clean and tight copy, with photographs intact, no markings/notes inside, no torn/missing page.
