Weeping Hikoki Cypress Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Walter’s Weeping’ Here is a one of a kind super RARE offering. You read it right, a WEEPING Hinoki Cypress! I found this variety growing among a large group of other seed grown Hinokis, and this one stuck right out. I have rooted many different varieties of Hinoki Cypress before, but this one does not root from cuttings (at least from my experience). The only means to guarantee a new plant like the original is by grafting. I have a very small number of grafted plants available, and will list them in due time. For now I have the second best thing; seeds of this wonderful variety of Weeping Hikoki Cypress up for sale. Don’t try to find these seeds available anywhere else, because this is a one of a kind plant that I found, and as of yet I have not sold any of them. I have not found any reference of any weeping varieties of Hinoki Cypress anywhere, although there may be others out there, this one is a seed grown weeper. As usual, no guarantee can be made as to what the seedlings will come out like, this batch of seeds holds a very good probability of some very unique forms. You may get dwarfs, foliage of varying colors, standard growing forms, or of course WEEPING plants. The best part is that any plants that you do get from these seeds are more one of a kind varieties, as there are never 2 seedlings that are identical with this type of seed. So you can name your varieties that develop into something special, and who knows, maybe you’ll have the next popular landscape plant to fill the market and make you $$$.
